Rowdy’s unique take on urban living and landscape is continued in his monolithic cartoon boulders, where the sheer size and bold rawness of the work provides a jarring juxtaposition within the urban space. These rocks are often left on abandoned sites and interstitial spaces in the city, reinventing the space in a way that connects with graffiti but extends it into a sculptural form.
